The Video Doorbell E340 offers dual cameras for enhanced surveillance. The front-facing camera focuses on people, while the downward-facing camera provides a view of the area in front of your door, creating a comprehensive monitoring system.

The battery-powered option simplifies setup, with the option to keep a spare quick-release battery for quick swaps and uninterrupted performance. Wired mode utilizes the battery, which is recharged by the power source, ensuring long-lasting operation. Note: Wired mode requires the battery to be installed and a power source of 16 to 24V and >10VA.

Pair the Video Doorbell E340 with your existing chime, eufy HomeBase S280, eufy HomeBase S380, eufy Minibase Chime (T8023), Alexa devices, or Google Voice Assistant devices to receive alerts throughout your home. Note: It is not compatible with the original eufy Wi-Fi Chime (T8020) or eufy Chime (T8740/T8742).

The Video Doorbell E340 stores your data locally, eliminating the need for a subscription fee. It supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, but currently does not offer integration with Apple HomeKit.

The Video Doorbell E340 is compatible with the pre-record function, which is expected to be available from early December 2023, when the device is constantly powered by a 16-24V, 30VA transformer. In this wired mode, the existing chime needs to be bypassed.

While the Video Doorbell E340 is battery-powered, the battery must remain installed even when using the wired power mode. It does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, only 2.4 GHz.

To link Alexa with the Video Doorbell E340, follow these steps: 1. Open the Alexa app and tap the side menu. 2. Find and enable the "eufy Security" skill. 3. Enter your eufy account login details on the Link Account page. 4. Tap "Discover Devices" to connect your security devices with Alexa.
